So, after struggling with breathing life into my new story, I am pleased to say there are now 30 chapters in my first draft. Now, let me be clear, all of them are partial chapters, and rough.

BUT as of a few minutes before writing this post, I have written 26,582 words. Which is ridiculous for me since Short Autumn Days has just over 15k words, and that took me almost a year to write.

17,009 words. That is how many I typed (and didn't delete) in 3 days. My hands are sore. My shoulders hurt. My brain is tired. But man, am I pumped!

Right now, I am hoping to have a complete book edited, designed, and ready to go by November. But being that I'm not even done with the first draft, this may just be a dream.

Don't worry, though. I will be coming back to Lenore and the gang soon. This was just an idea I had and I did not want to lose it. Once this draft is done, I will be jumping right back into my first series and finishing her tale!

Hope to share something soon! Stay tuned!
