New Tech / New Story

Who doesn't like new products? I love tech. I love electronics. I love new and pretty things. I love love love new things.

Okay, so why am I talking about it? Because I got a new iMac today! It is not really NEW per say, but it is to me. I bought it off Amazon for a quarter of the price of a brand new one. Which, I also love inexpensive things. Sure, it might be 8 years old, but it still works just as good. I can't even tell the difference. Except, I read it won't upgrade to iOS Mojave, but I've lived in Mojave... I'm not missing much *wink*. Okay, that was a little mean. But still, I am in love with my computer.

On another note, I have started writing another story. And before anyone says anything, yes, I am going to finish my other series and short story for my newsletter peeps! See, I was working really hard on book 3 of The Lenore Monroe Series, but with over 16k words in my "word dump" (which is an extremely rough draft of scenes and ideas), I hit a wall. I have written 9k words written into actual story form. So, needless to say, this book is going to be longer than the others.

But, I am taking the time to explore a new story. AND I'm going to attempt to write an actual novel this time. It will be a futuristic, interplanetary, post cyberpunk book. I'll explain what all of that means in another post, so I can add a different picture that goes with it. But, I am very excited about where this story is going. I am still in the outlining phase, developing characters and the plot, so it will be a while. So keep an eye out for more to come!
